Nicole Chase
Los Angeles County, CA
Development and Marketing Consultant, Boys & Girls Club of San
Fernando Valley
After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with
a degree in Industrial Psychology, I found that my calling was to
work with young people and have worked with youth at various levels
for over 20 years.
Annually, for more than 15 years, I have produced the West Coast
Music Festival and a Youth/Teen Summit at the Los Angeles Convention
Center for LA County high school students. In 2006, I was asked
by former State Senator, now LA Councilmember Richard Alarcon, to
direct his "Young Senators Leadership Program.
Today, I am a Development and Marketing Consultant for the Boys
& Girls Club of San Fernando Valley, and I am afforded the unique
opportunity of working with some of their teens as well as other
youth in the surrounding community. In addition to producing Special
Events, I focus my energy on creating programs that have a positive
impact on youth and the community at large.
My passion is to empower young people helping them to help
themselves and believe that they can do anything they put their
minds to, creating an opportunity for them to embrace (and for some,
to reclaim) their power while developing and implementing their
visions for successful futures. Powerful self-talk opens up a world
of infinite and powerful possibilities and realities a myriad
of opportunities to change the world
one teen at a time.
